Certified Ophthalmic Surgical Technician Full Time
Job Description
This full-time permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care. The Surgical Technician will assist the surgical team before, during, and after surgery by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating Room experienced highly preferred
- Take history for consultation, follow-up, and surgery patients
- Use Autorefractor, Magellan, Galilei, and Pachymetry
- Execute Plugs and Meibomian Expression
- Place Contacts on pts eyes
- Place equipment and supplies in operating room and arranges instruments, according to instructions
- Assist team members to place and position patient on table
- Scrub arms and hands and don gown and gloves
- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeon, hold retractors, cut sutures, and perform other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation
- Put dressings on patient following surgery
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation
- Wash and sterilize equipment and cleans operating room
- Travel to our other centers may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing
- Willing to travel for work if required
- Good communication skills
- Dependability & punctuality required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese or Chinese required
- Must be fluent in English

Front Desk Medical Receptionist
Job Description
This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care. The Front Office Receptionist performs a variety of general front office tasks and duties. Previous medical experience is not required but exceptional customer service skills are a must!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a strong commitment to patient care
- Answer the telephone
- Prepare, file, and maintain all patient charts
- Patient greeting and intake
- Collect payments
- Schedule patient appointments
- Willing to work some Saturdays
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English is a must
- Bilingual in conversational Vietnamese and/or Chinese a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word software; Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software; Internet Explorer; Microsoft Outlook contact management software, etc.
- Prior front office experience in the medical industry a plus
- Available to work weekends

- Sort and route incoming mail
- Make copies of printed materials
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
- Compile Center packets, including stapling, assembling and distribution
- Manually count and maintain inventory levels
- Organize and maintain file system, and file correspondence and other records
- Maintain office appearance
- May be required to use own car to run errands

IT Help Desk Assistant - Full or Part Time - Medical Office
About this Job
Support the IT infrastructure of a multi-location medical clinic. This position will be based in City of Industry and require light travel to our LA and Orange County offices as needed. The IT Assistant’s duties will be in the range of computer operations, user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk, data management, telecom system, VOIP phone system and any other assigned duties related to the department. The candidate should be a quick problem solver, quick learner and the ability to follow detailed instructions with multi-tasking abilities.
List of Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
- Increase efficiencies, technical ability and interpersonal skills
- Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking
- Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software
- Complete special projects as requested
- Maintain office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners and fax machines
- Must have the ability to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 25 pounds (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions)
- Occasional travel to and from corporate office is expected
- Proficient in all mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, calendar sync with outlook, Droid, Surface tablets, etc.)
- Excellent communication. This position will interface with employees, clients and vendors.
- Be able to follow detailed procedures setup to minimize disruption to users
- Must be proficient in the following: Windows 10 Operating System, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Audio Visual presentation setup for meetings
- Update network applications as required.
